Psyonix Release Server Performance Update To Improve Rocket League Servers & Fix Lag Issues

if you played rocket league at some point in the last few weeks you know that your servers did not have the desired performance and that your online experience has been full of problems. fortunately, psyonix is aware of the situation and has already taken the necessary measures to improve its servers.

through a blog post, the studio recognized the existence of a bug, which appeared shortly after the arrival of the updated tournaments. this error caused several problems in the game client and the servers. although this situation was fixed last week, it did not take long for the studio to detect a software problem on its servers that caused lag even in situations where there was a low ping. also, it caused poor performance for all players regardless of their platform or location.

so, psyonix spent the last days updating the control panel software and the operating system of each of its servers. this eradicated the bug and gave it a new level of control to detect and fix future problems. however, the study indicates that their work has not finished, so they seek to replace servers in some regions and take additional measures when necessary.
